The Mares Magellan BCD is a genuine travel Jacket. It is extremely light and completely foldable thanks to the absence of a rigid backrest. Equipped with ergonomic concave shoulder straps that improve comfort in the chest/shoulder area. Integrated ballast system with quick release.

Lightweight It weighs a mere 5lbs (2.0kg) in a size S/M yet delivers 41 lbs (18.5kg) of lift.
High quality, compressible and durable material is used on the shoulders, back, and weight pocket areas for greater comfort.
Integrated quick release weight system The simple and easy to operate integrated weight system uses simple release buckles.
Included weight pockets vary in size depending on the size of the BCD. XL includes two 13lbs (6kg) capacity pockets and 9lbs (4kg) for the M/L and XS/S.
Trim Weight with the Magellan, you can use weight pockets that can be placed on the back, on the tank-fastening strap (optional), for better weight distribution.
A large folding and self-draining pocket is positioned on the right side of the cummerbund.
Aluminum D-Rings Two 40mm D-Rings below the weight pockets, and two 25mm D-Rings on the shoulder straps.
New concave curvature shoulder straps (patent pending) These new shoulder straps have an unprecedented ergonomic shape, designed to meet the needs of the female diver as well.
